Accepted BH license types in OH: LPCC, LISW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, MD/DO (Board Certified), PMHNP. State licensing board: Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Active state license and NPI required. OH uses LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) and LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker). One board licenses counselors, social workers, and MFTs. Manages BH for Medicaid programs, employer groups, and military (TRICARE). Now owned by Molina Healthcare.
