Accepted BH license types in MD: LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT, Licensed Psychologist, MD/DO (Board Certified), PMHNP. State licensing board: Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. Active state license and NPI required. MD uses LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker — Clinical), and LCMFT (Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist). Social workers licensed by the MD Board of Social Work Examiners. Manages BH for Medicaid programs, employer groups, and military (TRICARE). Now owned by Molina Healthcare.
